Senior Professional Services Technician Epicor MES Solutions

The Professional Services Technician participates in consulting engagements and assumes responsibility for performing implementation tasks and producing quality deliverables.

This role will primarily install and configure hardware into Advanced MES software, with a focus on ensuring seamless integration and optimal functionality.

Additionally, the incumbent will be responsible for working on upgrades during periods with less hardware-related tasks, ensuring continuous improvement and efficiency within our systems.

What you will be doing :

• Perform hardware installation tasks including; wire pulling, relay and wire terminations and mounting of hardware.
• Provide guidance to the client through proactive training, sharing knowledge, and communicating best practices for Epicor MES solutions.
• Establish rapport with Epicor customers that will include personnel at both the workforce and C-level.
• Ensure that project deliverables are completed on time and anticipate issues or conditions that may impact the original estimate or project budget.
• Develop best practices and associated documentation
• Comfortable speaking in a public setting at conferences, sales meetings, and other events as required.

• Meet utilization targets and complete project deliverables on time.
• Customer-centr ic, results-orient ed, self-starter, and able to work independently.
• Ability to communicate effectively while performing manual labor tasks
• Expertise in all applicable modules of the Epicor MES solutions, including hands-on experience with physical installation tasks.
• Breadth of knowledge across industry verticals of Manufacturing.
• Ability to lift and move heavy equipment weighing up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, operate lifts reaching heights of 30-40 feet, pull cables, and maneuver effectively in confined spaces.
• Ability to travel up to 75%

Qualification :

• 3 years of hands-on hardware installation experience and / or demonstrated success / knowledge
• 3 years manufacturing industry experience
• Knowledge of Microsoft SQL preferred
• Knowledge of JSON scripting preferred
• Bachelor's degree preferred (or equivalent experience)
